Our Team

Carmen is our Coordinator of Holistic Care and also serves as our social worker. She has an undergraduate degree in Social Work and has additional studies in children advocacy and rights of children. Before joining FLM, Carmen worked with DINAF (Honduras Children's Services), helping find safe placements for children, leading social investigations, reintegrating families, and teaching healthy parenting styles.  At FLM she coordinates and leads the holistic development of children in our three programs, leads training with teens developing adult skills for life, and guarantees the fulfillment of the child protection policy.  Committed to God and to serving Honduran families, Carmen loves the children she works with and is glad to be a part of Family Life Missions. She is married and is the mother of one son  and one daughter.
